Background and what we do
AreMek Industrial Equipment Import and Rental’s history started with the establishment of Aregash Mekuria Agricultural & Construction Machinery Rental in 2010. Based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, we imported, distributed, and rented agricultural and construction equipment for ten years before we expanded into industrial equipment, spare parts, and agricultural implements as AreMek Industrial. This expansion also included broadening our geographic reach with the main office still in Addis Ababa, a Middle East operation office in Dubai, UAE and a North America sales office based Washington DC, USA. The AreMek management has more than 40 years’ experience in helping our clients address their machinery, equipment, and consumable needs.
Our expanded service offers a wide variety of machineries, spare parts and consumables. Specifically, we are distribution agents for Baoli forklifts, Trellborg tires, STILL forklifts, and Emerald tires among others. We provide after-sales services for these machineries to ensure they continue with their high-level performance. Furthermore, our maintenance worship provides technical and maintenance support for fleet operations. The pressure-hose workshop provides solution to a wide-range of hydraulic systems. We import high-quality Manuli and Getz pressure hose, Cassapa hydraulic pumps, and Techmaflex crimping equipment. We also specialize in container handling for your high-value shipment. Our fleet includes Manitou 1740 and JCB 540 telescopic forklifts.
